Meeting Summary:
Community Supper: The Antrim Bennington Lions Club (in partnership with Antrim in Action) hosted the Community Supper at the Presbyterian Church on January 19, 2012 and had 65 diners attend. The menu was designed for all of us that have busy schedules and find it hard to find the time for as many home cooked meals as we would like due to getting home from work late or working around the kids sports schedules. The menu for the supper was created as a possible home cooked meal that is easy to prepare, nutritious and a reasonable cost. The menu consisted of the following and you can see the recipes for black bean soup and chicken stir fry by linking to them on this website.
Free Vision Eye Screening: The week of January 30, 2012 we conducted eye screening for children six years or younger at the Antrim Elementary School and The Grapevine. We tested 46 children with a Welch Allen SureSight Vision Screener checking for common vision problems. We will plan to do this again this fall.

- Business Meeting - February 7, 2012 at V.F.W. in Bennington starting at 6:30PM
- Dinner Meeting - February 21, 2012 at Malarkey's in Antrim (6:30 social, 7:00 dinner). This is also a Zone meeting with several other club members also attending

The Antrim-Bennington Lions Club is a local, community service organization which is part of Lions Clubs International. Lions Club members are men and women who strive to make a difference in their local community as well as in communities worldwide.
An example of our community service is that our Lions Club was the sponsor of the first Antrim Volunteer Organization Forum providing dinner for the 35 attendees Friday evening, April 9, 2010.
